Drag Racing with the XR1200 Sportster

I had the chance to participate in Harley-Davidson's drag race simulator against another rider on a matched set of 2011 XR1200's. We were racing on a dyno and the bike did reach speeds at the rear wheel of over 100mph. I cut a 10.21 ET on my first race, and then lost on the second race when I missed the shift into 5th gear. It's a blast to launch this bike at 6000RPM and shift just below the 7000RPM red-line.
