Hey Friends,
As T-Bone has already posted, the Law Enforcement Memorial Bike Ride was very successful. First off, as far as I know, everyone made the trip down to St.Augustine and back safely. That's the first thing that makes a ride successful. Secondly, there were 254 bikes (mostly 2-up) and six cages (vehicles) that pulled out of the Stellar Center. And finally we raised a total of $14,928.78. After expenses of $3,049.75, we cleared $11,879.03 for the cause we were riding for. This surpasses last years 150 bikes and $9,361.97 and even our best years ride in 2006 in which we had a little over 300 bikes and raised $10,067.00.
My sincere thanks to all of you for either participating in the ride, helping put on the ride, or both. If at any time I said or did anything to any of you that offended you, I apologise. I don't handle stress very well and some times it causes me to verbally incorrect.
With that said, thanks again for everything you all did. A ride summary e-mail of info obtained from registration forms will be forthcoming.
Take care,
Blue
