Radio System Install

Hi...I have an '08 Road King Classic and ride with a lot of different people...Most of them have a radio/sound system. I get a lot of positive comments from other riders and during the Law Enforcement Ride from Brunswick,GA to St Augustine, FL, on Sept 19, 2009, quite a few riders asked me about my system, so I mentioned that I would add a BLOG. Here it is.... This system is just great, even at highway speeds, which was a concern of mine. I mounted my speakers on custom made brackets that I had powder coated black to compliment the black speakers and w/s bag. The amp is mounted out of sight in the w/s bag...I had the local leather shop install snap fasteners on the amp bracket and bag to secure it to the bag. I shortened the included power and speaker leads to provide a custom fit....all connectors were available at Radio Shack. I even marked the 12VDC connector so that I would always connect it with the right polarity. Now when I remove my windshield for cleaning, I just disconnect the power cord and off it comes. Very easy and looks GREAT. I will provide pics to whoever is interested.
